NCAA rule interpretation January 2025

The cutoff date for changes to the NCAA rules and clarifications, which uses the FIG Code of Points as its basis is December 1 or after any changes noted by the FIG at its Intercontinental Course. The NCAA Men’s Gymnastics Committee will review interpretations to the FIG Code received after this on a case-by-case basis, and reserves the right to adopt changes that are in the best interest of the gymnasts.

NCAA Rules Subcommittee

The NCAA Men’s Gymnastics Committee will review interpretations to the FIG Code of Points on a case-by-case basis. Skills in question will be evaluated by the NGJA/NCAA Rules Subcommittee. Current members of this committee are:

World Gymnastics Men's Artistic Gymnastics Code of Points

The Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Code of points is the international standard for men’s gymanstics rules. This is crucial for the optional program in combination with the MDP competition manual.
