About The NGJA

The National Gymnastics Judges Association (NGJA) is the premier member-driven organization dedicated to the development and certification of officials for Men’s Artistic Gymnastics in the United States.

The NGJA was founded to address the national need for unifying rules interpretations, improving the quality of gymnastics judging, increasing the quantity of certified officials, and maintaining the highest ethical standards across the sport.

We serve the gymnastics community by providing essential services that ensure fair and consistent evaluation of performances at all competitive levels.

Our core commitment is to advance the performance of men’s artistic gymnastics by:

• Rules Interpretation: Aligning and communicating accurate rules interpretations based on the Federation of International Gymnastics (FIG) Code of Points.
• Certification & Education: Conducting annual certification clinics and educational programs to train and elevate our judges, ensuring they are prepared for the rigors of state, regional, and national competitions.
• Assignments: Providing recommendations and assigning highly qualified judges to the governing bodies for national and international competitions.

Through our dedicated network of certified judges, regional leadership, and governing board, the NGJA serves as the bedrock for integrity and fairness, ensuring that every gymnast’s dedication and skill are recognized and rewarded accurately.
